Odoo is a suite of business management software tools including, CRM, e-commerce, billing, accounting, manufacturing, warehouse, project management, and inventory management etc. The latest version as of this writing is Odoo 16 and it was released on October 12, 2022.
In this article we will guide you on how to install Odoo 16 on Ubuntu 22.04.
At least 2 CPU and 2 GB of RAM
A user with sudo privileges.
2 Updating the System
Before we proceed with the installation of dependencies we need to make sure that our system is updated.
sudo apt update -y && apt upgrade -y
3 Installing the Dependencies
Let us install the dependencies and package we need for us to install and manage Odoo 16.
Save and close the unit file and reload systemd to apply the changes.
sudo systemctl daemon-reload
Enable and start the service.
sudo systemctl enable --now odoo16
Check the status to see if the instance is running without issues.
sudo systemctl status odoo15
